As Principal of Leva Consulting I am about to travel to Goa, India. I will be attending an international conference to explore Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approaches to community development projects. The conference includes speakers and master classes led by experts in ABCD from across the world. This conference provides Leva Consulting with the opportunity to expand our international networks, to build on our understanding of the process and factors that support community recovery after natural disaster, and to learn about new ways to map and strengthen community assets. It is an exciting opportunity to bring together these areas of expertise, in our work with communities and organisations across Australia during 2017.
