Dr Moreton is delighted to have been invited to join the AVP team to develop the next phase of national strategy in relation to disaster resilience. The National Resilience Taskforce (located within the Department of Home Affairs) is working on key strategies that will advance the national discussion about resilience and risk. It is a pleasure to be involved and we are looking forward to seeing the product of our work in the public arena before the close of 2018.
