Dr Moreton has been delighted to work with Anne Leadbeater on a number of projects designed to build capacity across the Emergency Management sector. It has been a pleasure to work alongside Anne to co-deliver Community Engagement for Emergencies (as part of the Advanced Diploma in Public Safety, Emergency Management), from July to September 2018. The students in this program brought a great deal of energy and experience to the process and as a result the unit provided a rich learning environment for everyone. It is so important to ensure that those working in emergency management have opportunities like this, to develop knowledge and skills and to learn from the lived experience of other students, and from Anne and Dr Moreton.
