Leva Consulting takes on projects that build community resilience in ways that are not directly disaster related.
Working with SHINE for Kids has been one such project. This project has involved providing leadership as the interim CEO – while longer term plans were made to fill the unplanned vacancy of ongoing CEO. The project also involved developing a Business Development and Growth Strategy for the organization, to ensure financial growth and sustainability, in the long term. In this way, this project the ongoing support the organization provides to children who have a parent in jail – supporting their ongoing relationship with their parents and their ongoing connection to education and social networks.
Our work with Uniting Care is another such project. Facilitating a strategic planning workshop enabled the leadership team to develop shared vision, and key strategies and plans for the future.
